Mothers Day TREASURE Chest

Here in Australia it was Mothers Day on Sunday..I wanted to create something for My Mum that she could keep and know a lot of thought had gone into it.  I stumbled across these gorgeous boxes at the local newsagent the other night

So as lovely as the box was I wanted to add a few touches to it for my Mum

So i started by painting with a crackle paint in vintage photo and added some luminarte gold paint over that.  Didn't like the the way it looked so i sprayed some glimmer mist over and over to get my desired colour!  Cut a layer of flowers from my Donna Salazar die set.  The one on the top i added a gorgeous brass charm to the middle of the flower.  A BIG dragon fly charm as my Mum is a HUGE dragonfly fan....A little doily and a piece of Prima bling which i cut into pieces...

Nanna on one side and Mum on the other. When I had finished it I was REALLY happy with the result.


MUM LOVED it...
