A bit of Christmas

SOOO..in all this CRAZInESS at this time of year I sat down and decided to make a Christmas piece that we can put out each year.  Last year I made an advent calendar so this year its just a little frame.  I am so so happy with the way it turned out.

Its a DA 8x8 frame. I inked it but thenchanged my mind on how I wanted it to look so used real snow and diamond dust on the outside.  I had some gorgeous Websters papers from last year and cut them out ...also a BO Bunny santa , I LOVE Santa.  A prima vine which I cut , inked and put diamond dust on and here is the finished product.   hope you like it as much as I do

Paisley Princess

I have left my favourite till last (for today).  This is one I did at a crop night a fortnight ago.  It a die cut from a Kaisercraft 25 December range.  I then placed some bazzill on the back and used some scissors to cut around it.  Then ran ribbon all the way around.  The ribbon didnt quite reach so I have put a BEAUTIFUL Prima spray there.

I added other littel flowers to the Prima spray to just blend the colours.  The photo led to the title as I added a Paisley overlay before I printed it.  the title is again Thickers...The DA chippy is painted in white..I used Liquid pearls in a few places and then glimmer mist over the top to change the colour to a pretty mauve..

Thank you for stopping by...dont forget a little bling makes things brighter

Natures Blossoms

A couple of week ends ago we took a ride an hour and a half away and it was a great photo op.  I took some wonderful photos of our two girls.  This is one of the first ones I have scrapped.

I used the new MME paper and I LOVE the glitter on it.

Its a fairly simple layout as the paper was too lovely to do too much to.  I adore how the DA piece came out here.  I paintd it with white paint then used chalk inks to ink the edges and then Utee over the top..  I cut out a butterfly and used crackle accents on it..Some thickers for the title..I loved the wood look of these

Beiber Fever

This one is one I dig AGES ago but have only just manages to photograph.

It a pictur of our youngest and her friend on their way to the JUSTIN BEIBER concert.  They both adore him.  I love this photo they both look sooooo excited..

A lovely floral spray from Prims...some music notes chippy that I embossed...

Bloom Where You Grow

It has been a LOOOOOOnnnng time since my last post.  I seem to find time to scrap but not take the pics to put on my blog... SO there are a few to upload tonight.

This first one I called Bloom Where You Grow.  It is of our youngest daughter.  She is certainly shooting up very quickly!!  I have used new Prima paper Romatique, some Twiddlybitz Chip..some lovely Prima bling and an OLD Prima flower from my stash

BUSY ME

SOOOOO.....I have been scrapping a bit lately.  NOT that I dont have other things to do but I have decided I need to make time to scrap and use up my HUGE stash!!!

Firstly I did a layout of hubby and myslef and  my dear friend who invited us to the MEN IN BLACK ball...She goes every year. Its raises money for male depression.

I LOVE this DA frame..I painted it with gesso and then inked and painted with glimmer glam...LOVE the effect...

Next is a simple layout of our eldest swimming with the dolphins in Bali.

Stella & Rose papers. A papers doily some crocheted green doileys and some wonderful thickers.  Like I said simple but I like the look of it.

Then  a pic of my hubby and I at the ball..I used some of the new Victoria Garden papers.  Another DA frame which I painted white and then used glimmer glam AGAIN to add the glitter effect on.

I quickly made some flowers for this layout using the cut and roll technique.  The little heart flower frame I got in Vietnam and it just suited this layout so well.  The gold heart is a Collections piece that I embossed using gold emboss powder.

The next one is using the new Kaiser range Miss Nellie..its another quick layout but I still like it.

The flourish is from Collections.  I inked it silver and then embossed over it using moonglow embossing powder.  I really like how this turned out.  Of course some lovely bling and a cluster of flowers..

I have one more layout to upload but blogger is being a bit naughty at the moment and wont let me upload the photos so for now ...thank you for looking
