SOOOOO.....I have been scrapping a bit lately. NOT that I dont have other things to do but I have decided I need to make time to scrap and use up my HUGE stash!!!
Firstly I did a layout of hubby and myslef and my dear friend who invited us to the MEN IN BLACK ball...She goes every year. Its raises money for male depression.
I LOVE this DA frame..I painted it with gesso and then inked and painted with glimmer glam...LOVE the effect...
Next is a simple layout of our eldest swimming with the dolphins in Bali.
Stella & Rose papers. A papers doily some crocheted green doileys and some wonderful thickers. Like I said simple but I like the look of it.
Then a pic of my hubby and I at the ball..I used some of the new Victoria Garden papers. Another DA frame which I painted white and then used glimmer glam AGAIN to add the glitter effect on.
I quickly made some flowers for this layout using the cut and roll technique. The little heart flower frame I got in Vietnam and it just suited this layout so well. The gold heart is a Collections piece that I embossed using gold emboss powder.
The next one is using the new Kaiser range Miss Nellie..its another quick layout but I still like it.
The flourish is from Collections. I inked it silver and then embossed over it using moonglow embossing powder. I really like how this turned out. Of course some lovely bling and a cluster of flowers..
I have one more layout to upload but blogger is being a bit naughty at the moment and wont let me upload the photos so for now ...thank you for looking

Something Blue
The Grammar school our eldest goes to had a fundraiser with a difference this year..they had a wedding Af-fare..so it was a fare with the theme being weddings through the centuries. the highlight of the day was a parade of wedding dresses that people had sent in. My daughter got to wear my dress ( a teary moment)..It fitted her perfectly..OH was I ever this tiny
A beautiful WEBSTERS page.. I decorated the form on it rather than use a chippies one. I punched out some paper and inked the edges blue to use as the backgroud..My signature bling (LOL) .

July 1st Challenge
So ..I have become addicted to doing the challenges over at Once Upon A Sketch. They are challenging and I am loving that they are making me do things I wouldnt normally in my layouts..ESPECIALLY journalling...I am shocking at journalling on my photos..I often hide it.
The July 1st challenge is as follows
Journalling Criteria: Who is in the photo? Name the person in the photo and at least 1 fact about them. This can be personality, character, talent , achievement etc. but it must be at least 2 sentences long.
So, using a photo of our youngest , taken on her Birthday which she was lucky enough to be in Bali for, this is my take on the sketch
I have used FOR THE RECORD paper and embellishments for this one. I made 2 flowers for the bottom corner..I love these they are so easy and look GREAT. I don't usually spray on my page so this was another challenge for me here. Very happy with how its turned out and cant wait till the 15th for their new challenge. I have several more lay outs to upload....if I get some free time today. Thank you for looking ....
