Day of Creating

So today I dont have any photos to post but hope to put LOTS up on Sunday.  Tomorrow I am attending a 12hr crop!!!!  Wow lets hope I can get more than 2 LO's done in that time...until then...

Believe in YOU

This is the latest LO I have done.  I took the photo recently of Breanne.  Again not a pink page, which is very strange for me but I loved working with this colour.  It a Prima page which I cut and distressed, I even distressed the photo!!!!  A DA scroll in the corner and of course  BLING......
I took some of these outside on the lawn to try and get better light on them!!!   Thank you for looking..

YOU

So this is he layout I have been working on for the last couple of days.  Its a photo I took of Tiahni with my wonderful new Canon 500D.

It is a coulour I would not usually use but as soon as I put the photo on it I knew it was the right page.  There was a clock face on the paper which led me to use the DUSTY ATTIC clock.  I inked this with Tim Holtz Tum led glass and then Glimmer misted with lemongrass. WOW how great is that colour combination??  Then I called in at INSPIRED CRAFTS today and got some of these cute little DUSTY ATTIC butterlies. They just fitted in so well.  Also DUSTY ATTIC letters used for the title.  Of course, as always, a little bit of bling!!  I am really happy with how it has turned out.  I dont think these photos do it justice.  I really need lessons on how to take photos of my layouts!!!

Some more "Creations"

So here is what I did yesterday and today.  being as it was so hot I decided to get creative.  Firstly I thought I would have a go at making some tissue paper flowers and some from material.  The material is left over from my BRIDESMAIDS dresses 16 years ago.  Lucky it didnt fall apart as I cut it.  ha ha ha. 


Then today I started a layout of Tiahni.  I really enjoyed this one.  I used a few DA pieces.  Which I inked , misted, misted some more and then Uteed ( I need to perfect this techique).  I used Prima papers and cut up a prima flourish placed in sevrla places.  I used my WONDERFUL I Rock tool to heat set the BLING around the edges.  ALWAYS have to have bling.

Taj

This is a layout I did a few weeks ago taken Christmas Eve 2009 of TAJ.  I love this photo of him..his little paw over his eyes..it would seem the build up to Christmas was just all too much for him.  I just need to learn how to put better photos on here!!  Oh well this is ALL a learning experience!!

Beginnings

So here is my first attempt at blogging.  I am going to try and make this a place that I share all my "creativity".  My first bit of creating will be setting up this BLOG...stay tuned
